We will scour each web page in that list for the links that you specify (it may be the same link for the whole list or it may be a different link for each webpage in the list). If that link remains in a web page on your list we will indicate this in our report, and if the link does not exist any more we'll also indicate that.

Our service is especially useful to website owners who outsource to backlinking and other SEO services. Because links are removed over time, we check which links have been removed and which remain. Most links are removed within the first month, which is why we recommend that you wait at least 3 weeks after the backlink posting has occurred before using this service. By then most of the links which are ever going to be removed will have been removed.

How Does Broken Backlinks Checker Work?

Just send us the full list of URLs (in column A of a csv file) with the URL of the link you hope will be found in each page (in column B of the file) and we will process this and send you back a full report telling you if the link is 'Found' or 'Not Found' for each web page on your list. The link URL that we're looking for can be the same for all the web pages on your list, or it can be a different link for each web page, or any combination in between. Very flexible!

Broken Backlink Checker: The Process

1. Give us a list of URLs of web pages you want to check to see if your link is in them (in Column A of a CSV file).

2. Tell us the URL of the link is that you're looking for (they needn't be the same link; they may be different links for each webpage, for that matter) in Column B of the same CSV file.

3. We'll send you back the same list of URLs, with the result 'Found' or 'Not Found' beside each and every one in Column C.

That's it!

We charge only $0.01.9 per URL on your list.
On lists over 10,000 we charge only $0.01.5 per URL on your list.
On lists over 100,000 we charge only $0.01.3 per URL on your list.

We turn round work in about 3 working days under normal conditions (public holidays are an exception, as are orders over 50,000 URLs to check).

There is no minimum size of list we'll work with, but we charge a minimum of $9.50 per job (that makes 500 an optimum cost-effective starting size for your list).

The maximum is a list of 10,000 URLs. But in practice there is no maximum, because if you have a million web pages to check to see if your link is on them just send us 100 files with 10,000 URLs on each of them.

Broken Backlinks Checker: What to Send Us

Send us the list of web page URLs you want to check, with the URL of the link you are looking for next to each web page URL. Put the list of web page URLs we'll be looking at in Column A of a CSV file, and the URLs of the links you're hoping to find in each respective web page in Column B. These need not be the same link in each case (you might have a different link you'd like to check in each web page).
